The Basic Nursing Assistant CNA Program is approved by the Illinois Department of Public Health IDPH and the Illinois Board of Higher Education IBHE. This program runs 8 weeks with attendance required 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). We offer day and evening hours. The cost of this program is $835. This fee covers your Registration, Lab, Tuition, CPR Certification, Textbook, and your State Exams Review.
Upon Successful Completion of this program, students will sit for The Illinois State Competency Exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA.
The Phlebotomy Technician Program is approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education IBHE and The National Center for Competency Testing NCCT. This course is designed to teach all theory content over a 5 week period. The students will have additional time offerings to complete the lab, which includes obtaining the successful required venipunctures for course completion. This course is offered day or evening on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. This Program is designed to give students an understanding of The Human Anatomy and Physiology with emphasis on the Cardiovascular System. Students will learn about a variety of needles, proper gauge selection, and how to identify veins appropriate for venipunctures. The students will also review CDC manadated Infection Control practices as this is practiced with strict adherence. The Cost of this program is $875. This fee covers Registration, Lab, Needle kit, textbook rental, and Tuition.
Upon Successful Completion of this program, students will sit for the NCCT Certification to become a Nationally Certified Phlebotomy Technician NCPT.
The EKG Technician program is approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education IBHE and The National Center for Competency Testing NCCT. This prorgram is 10 weeks. Students will attend classes two days per week. This class is offered in the evening. The EKG Technician Program is designed to give students a understanding of The Human Anatomy and Physiology with the emphasis on the Circulatory System. Students will be able to identify Basic Arrythmias, Heart Blocks, and Common Cardiac Medications. The program teaches students how to perform 12 lead EKGs, Stress Tests, and Holter Monitors. Infection Control Knowledge and Adherence is manadated.
The cost of this Program is $875. This fee covers Registration, Lab, Supplies,Tuition, CPR Certification, and Textbook Rentals.
Upon Successful Completion of this Program, students will sit for the NCCT Certification to become a Nationally Certified EKG Technician NCET.
PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN I (PCT)
This program combines CNA, Phlebotomy, and The EKG Technician Course into One Program. Students will go through a series of 3 modules over 5 months, obtaining individuals certifications after each. Upon Successful Completion of this program students will have the option of earning up to 4 certifications. This Program tuition is $2200 with agreed upon payment plan arrangement.
PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN II (PCT}---Combines CNA, Phlebotomy, and Dialysis. The Program Tuition is the same as a PCT I. Dialysis has replaced EKG.
The Dialysis Technician Program is approved by the Illinois Board Of Higher Education IBHE. This course is 6 weeks with day and evening hours. This course is designed to give students the Basic Knowledge to be successful working in a Renal Dialysis Center. The students will learn the Anatomy of the Kidneys and their function in the human body. Students will have hands on experience operating hemodialysis machines and will understand the principals involved in peritoneal dialysis Students must have active Certification as a Phlebotomist and a AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card to register for this program. The tuition for this program is $975, textbook rental and Uniforms included.
Upon Successful completion of this Program, students will earn a Certificate of Completion as a Dialysis Technician.
